Projection mapping app features, recorded from the app
The ten steps of the in-app Quick Start Guide for EasyMapper Studio, from plugging in a projector to tuning the show live. No laptop anywhere in the chain.
- 01
Connect a projector
USB-C to HDMI adapter or AirPlay. Tap Connect, then Play to go live on the wall.
- 02
Add a layer
Tap + and pick a shape: Quad, Square, Triangle, Circle, or a Custom stencil.
- 03
Corner-pin the surface
Drag any corner. The layer warps in perspective to match the real wall, box, or stage.
- 04
Add & remove corners
Need more than four points? Add Corner extends the polygon. Remove Corner trims it back.
- 05
Fill it with media
Drop in a photo, a video, or one of 30 live shaders like Neon Plasma, Square Pulse, or Grid Ripple.
- 06
Reframe the source
Crop and reposition the content inside any layer until the framing is exactly right.
- 07
Custom stencils
Turn any transparent PNG into a mapping shape. Only the silhouette is projected.
- 08
Duplicate, undo, redo
Duplicate a layer with its media and crop intact. Undo and redo every move.
- 09
Room effects
Falling Balls, Rockets, Snow, or a Skeleton move across the whole projection and react to your layers.
- 10
Play & tune live
Hit Play for the live screen. Tune brightness, hue, scale, and speed live, or let them react to the music.
What you can map with it
Those ten steps are the whole toolkit, whether the job is one haunted window, a full house front at Halloween, a DJ booth or a party backdrop. Every layer can hold its own video, image or shader, and room effects run across all of them at once, so a single projector covers several surfaces.
The use cases show what each kind of setup needs, and the projection mapping guides go further on choosing a projector, how many lumens you need and the mistakes to avoid on your first night. It all runs on the iPhone or iPad you already own, with any HDMI or AirPlay projector.
